About the event
How can we dance with more freedom and flow—releasing tension in our bodies, freeing our breath, quieting our minds, and letting go of self-judgment?
Over this 4-week workshop series, we'll explore ways of moving and dancing rooted in honesty and pleasure. We'll play with spirals, breath, undulations, and techniques that help us move freely in any direction and express ourselves more fully.
Drawing from contemporary dance, floorwork, Capoeira, and acrobatics, we'll move, groove, slide, spin, and have gee-lots of fun!
Dancers of all ages, levels, and interests are welcome—from contact improvisation and contemporary dance to folks who simply want to enjoy getting down at Ecstatic Dance or in their own living room.
